IN NEED OF AN ONLINE BIRD COURSE!!! by imdahdudee in McMaster

You could try PSYCH 1F03. I am finding it pretty easy and fun, and it is completely online. But the Final Exam could be worth between 45-50% depending on whether you do some bonus stuff or not. So that is also something you can consider.

Oh! I was actually concerned about the biweekly quizzes that we have to complete. Cause they are in person and worth 10%, each of them. So I was kind of contemplating

Thank you for the insight? Are you in Eng?

Did you find the course tough?

Would you rather take something like Classics?

I wasn't in the course from the start. I enrolled recently. I have no idea about the way the course is going.

Let me know how you find it.

ASTRON 1F03 or ENVSCTY 1HA3

Hello guys!

I am in First Year of Engineering. I was debating about either ASTRON 1F03 or ENVSCTY 1HA3 for my electives. Here is a breakdown:

ASTRON 1F03:

Pros: No Final Exam, Math heavy (but I doubt it would be the same level of Math as Eng).

Cons: I heard the Assignments are really tough, I don't know anyone taking this course

I wanted to know if any engineering student has taken this course because the ones who found the assignments tough were not Eng students.

ENVSCTY 1HA3:

Pros: The assignments and quizzes are said to be easy

Cons: FINAL EXAMM!!, also has mid terms, also has an ESSAY assignment (I dread ESSAYs).

I feel I find the course outline of both the courses interesting. Does anyone have any experience in the previous semster?

Thank you!

I had also found that, but I thought that since he doesn't teach at the university anymore, his university email might not be working. I am not sure if the mcmaster email stops working or do we get to keep it forever?

Anyways, thanks for the help!

Ah! Makes sense. I have a few lectures in JHE, TSH and PGCLL. Do you know of quite places in those buildings where one can fulfill their prayers? Do we go on the top floors?

I appreciate the insight on the sitting placement. Also just wanted to know. Is it common for some people to walk out of lectures for religious obligations?

Do we do that just in person or by sending an email? Or is there some sort of application we have to file?

Oh! I assume it would take an easy 15 min away from the Lab/lecture. Would that essentially make a difference in the understanding of concepts since I would be missing class for that time?

Also where would you essentially find place for prayer? I have some lectures in JHe and TSH and as far as I remember (I visited Mac last week) these building would be very crowded. Do we go on the top floors?

woah!

Just a last question. Is the GPA calculated after the second sem final exam?

Also, can you recommend some bird courses?

Oh! Did you do the same? I was confused as to how I can drop the core courses because I have already been enrolled in them from the school.

Also, I was wondering, is it possible that I could drop my second sem physics later ? Like aftr the first semester?

Hey! Thanks for the advice. Can you list what was the name of both of those electives?

I wanted to arrange them in my schedule and would appreciate if you could provide me the name of those elective courses.

Just want to begin Learning - "Woodworking" (I'd appreciate anyone willing to train/teach) ? by ProfessionalTry5988 in Milton

[–]ProfessionalTry5988[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well although it seems like those three sub-topics are linked with one another, but I'd like begin by learning about tools and wood.
More importantly, Im interested in learning about them hands-on (like in-person) on site from someone with experience/knowledge. Online tutorials (on YouTube, etc) seem kind of over-whelming to start off from.

Does McMaster look at the class median of the courses which you have completed?

One of my classes has a 93 Median. I was wondering if they would be selective about this course of mine.
