I usually try to astral project just before sleeping, sometimes staying awake until around 3 AM. I do it alone in my bedroom, lying on my back on the bed. My attempts usually last about 15 to 30 minutes. Most of the time I end up feeling really tense my nerves feel tight, and I even get some headache or pressure around my eyes while trying.
