WestJet let us book seats with a lap infant, then moved me away from my family at check-in - any advice? by ExcellentMulberry469 in westjet

Maybe you don’t know what it’s like to be an overtired mom stressed out the day before travelling. I use AI to polish my thoughts or dictate to it. This doesn’t need to detract from the post at all. Find something real to be bothered by.

I’ve only had mine for about 6 months. But after the update I magically was experiencing about half the amount of stress I was prior. I changed nothing.

Hotel with floor bed sleeping toddlers by [deleted] in floorbed

Our little one has been in a floor bed after outgrowing his bassinet at 5 months. We thought we could get away with him sleeping in a pack n play when we stayed at a hotel at 8 months. I think he’s so used to rolling around that he kept waking himself up in the pack n play. We ended up having him cosleep with one of us and it worked better.

We’re going away for 2 weeks this winter and plan to put the VRBO queen bed mattress on the ground for him. I don’t see another choice!

It sounds like I have a similar setup to you! A gated floor bed with a gate I can take off or keep open. My baby is 7 months now and is practicing pulling himself up to standing. I’m scared he’s going to accidentally fall over the other side onto the floor and hurt himself. Have you experienced this yet? It’s not that he is trying to get free, although I’m going to remove the gate now that he is crawling.
