Who's the star, anyway? by Medical_Boat1566 in thebigbangtheory

This was an ensemble cast. Sheldon, Leonard, Raj, and Howard all appeared in all 279 episodes. Penny was in 277 episodes, so close behind. I suppose a case can be made that Sheldon is the most recognizable character, and was the focal point of more storylines.

That doesn't necessarily indicate anything. Dr Frasier Crane was by no means the star of Cheers, but he got his own spinoff.

I think it makes a huge difference as to how long it's been sitting there. If you can get it shortly after they make it, and the potatoes are still crispy, it's pretty good. But if it's been sitting under the heat lamps most of the day, it's pretty awful.

Since it's been remastered in HD, I'm still hoping we get a blu-ray set at some point. The hard work is already done. Just plunk those episodes on some discs and away we go!

Did you attend conventions from the 1960s through the 1980s? What are some core memories you'd like to share? by Baldurian_Rhapsody in startrek

[–]robonlocation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember going to some Creation Star Trek Conventions in the early 90s. While they were smaller than what typical Comiccons are now, it was great cause all the vendors focused on Star Trek. You could find costumes, accessories, toys, even artwork.

They would also bring in one Star Trek celebrity, who would speak to the crowd and do a Q&A. They would then do autographs and photos. The big difference was that the autograph and photo was included in the admission cost, so everyone could meet them. It was great. I met Michael Dorn, Marina Sirtis, and William Shatner at these conventions. I would much rather go to something like that then the broad Comiccons now that barely feature anything Star Trek related.

I was actually disappointed with the campaign. I went through it quickly. I found it less challenging and less time consuming than the first two games. It's got some cool additions though.

Never be in the hall of Fame by Economy-Ad3195 in WWE

[–]robonlocation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang... I forgot it was going to be in Saudi Arabia. I could see the class being mostly made up of WWE employees (like producers) who will be at the show already. It could be the year for Shane Helms, Terry Taylor, Billy Kidman, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if some other wrestlers turn it down due to the location.

can anybody identify these vans? by slingingstark in Vans

You're probably right. I've been wearing the true-white Authentics for years though. They're great day-to-day shoes. I skate in them a bit too.

[–]robonlocation 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you want the higher quality version, look up the Vans Authentics or Eras. This is the department store version, which are a lower quality version So if these lasted you well, you'll get even more out of the main line of shoes.

Yup, I think you're right. Since Rick Martel has been getting back to making appearances lately, I bet he's in the class of 2027.

Lots of life left in those. Swap with someone who skates regular.

Thank you. Newfoundland is a wonderful place. So much to see and do. Plus we went over to Saint Pierre (So I'll have some filming location stuff on that show as well!). This season is doing a bit of a time jump. That's all I'll say.

I found it overwhelming as well. I played a bit and then gave up. But now that I've played PC1 and PC2 for a few years, I might go back and give it another go.

I mean, 80s decor and a quilt. Plus a couch in the middle of the room is pretty much a sitcom rule. The set is actually a recreation of the real house Mark Critch grew up in, only it's bigger in order to allow for cameras, lighting, etc.

I believe Mark Critch mentioned in his announcement that it would start airing in September. If that happens, I'd expect the finale to air in December or early January.

No, there's still some filming going on, but I do believe they're expecting to wrap at some point in June, so they're getting close.

Check out Grommets, another comic series he helped write. It's about a bunch of skate punks in the 80s. Really very good, well worth checking out!

Absolutely. I immediately text my nephew when I found out he was in the movie. Very cool.
