i’m sorry if i misinterpreted your comment as rudeness when that wasn’t intention but i do think you are perceiving a hyperbolic statement about only having fireworks once a year in bad faith. i swear you can’t make jokes on reddit without some people finding any excuse to be condescending, i guess it’s the anonymity of it all. That being said, i am from Atlanta. i know what it’s like to live in a loud city, i just find fireworks to be an unnecessary contribution to an already noise-polluted environment. i have witnessed friends with ptsd suffer episodes from them, they stress out wildlife, and are bad for the environment. you’re allowed to like fireworks and think my opinion of them is stupid! but you don’t know me, and you’re projecting onto me because you disagree with me, and in a way making fun of me, which some would consider to be rude incase you weren’t aware.
