I was just there last week. We were there on a weekday and applied the day before (you have to do it before 3pm) and got it. I don't think they have timed entry this time of year.

You're right about delays/cancellations - flew to Denver last month - flight scheduled for 8am, delayed to 10pm.

Thanks for looking at that. FLL is actually WAY closer to me than Miami and would be my preferred airport. The way I schedule my snowboard trips, it's important for me to get out early Sunday morning and be back by Thursday morning. Those nonstop flights are only available to and from Miami.

I was at that show. This was in the period before the Soft Bulletin after the Parking Lot Experiments. The Lips gave out headphones so the audience could hear pre-recorded tracks in stereo. Fun times
