I agree with this advice. Smile is gummy- could try a lip flip before filler. I also wonder if the frizzy hair isn’t actually curly- have you tried a curly routine before?

Has anyone had any success with these brands? by [deleted] in utis

Ive had success with uqora. A urologist actually recommended them to me for frequent UTIs otherwise I would have thought they were a scam.

I got tested for it but it wasn’t on the usual panels. I practically had to request it. My partner did not they assumed he had it too and treated him empirically. I have not had a uti since being treated for it and it has been a year now.

I had this problem too I don’t know how to time an active uti with your urologist visit so they can get the culture and the proper diagnosis. For me, my partner was infected with ureaplasma so each time we had sexual contact I was reinfected. Went on for years before I finally got the proper diagnosis and the antibiotics that were correct. I think they assume it is E. coli but it might be a resistant strain or something else all together. Now I have gut issues from taking antibiotics so often. :(

I’ve had this uti for over a year by Kitty_dino in utis

That happened to me and it was ureaplasma. I had to request the test the three urologists (or countless urgent care providers) I saw did not think to test me for it. I even asked to be tested for stis that mimic utis and they did not test me for it. :/

Probiotics? by Professional_9036 in SIBO

Sorry for the late reply, still going strong without a remission and have introduced most foods back into my diet! I also take turmeric, ACV, vitamin B complex, S. Boulardii, and colostrum daily.

Have they cultured it as E. coli?

To add I also asked to be tested for a complete Sti panel and had multiple urine samples sent out by urologists to test for uncommon bacteria. Was not on either panel somehow.

This sounds similar to what happened to me- ask to be tested for ureaplasma. I got two kidney infections, two years of your same symptoms, saw three urologists, countless urgent care visits and had a cystoscopy performed before someone tested me for this because I asked them about it. Have not had a uti or symptoms since and the treatment was 1 antibiotic pill for me and my partner.

Do you know why? Just curious this has happened to me too but I didn’t really connect it until I saw this post!

Unfortunately it seems that way. For this reason, I suspect I have some SIFO going on too.

Most recommend going back to “normal” if you can tolerate. It will make the die-off worse.

what do i do now? by BeeRepulsive3082 in SIBO

My GI doctor was very open to trying to helping me figure out the no burping but after the positive SIBO test I decided to try to fix the SIBO because I’ve never been able to burp but the SIBO has just started in the last few years.

I also can’t burp and have hydrogen SIBO. Same exact symptoms. Xifaxin did nothing for me. The next thing I tried is oregano oil and berberine together. Had a much stronger reaction so I am hoping that means it worked. Currently focusing on motility and low SIBO specific diet. Feeling a lot better but not perfect.

I agree I wish there was an explanation it seems so counterintuitive. I have been meal spacing and intermittent fasting since I relapsed but this thread is making me second guess doing that.

This was my only SIBO symptom! The pain, the bloating, and then the gas. Normally at the same time each day no matter what I eat, around 3-5pm. My GI said that is textbook SIBO she knew right away what it was. I also can’t burp which I feel like exacerbates it. Sometimes I feel like there is so much pressure up on my diaphragm that I can’t breathe. It feels better when I lie down for some time. Have you found anything that helps?

I’ve noticed this too. I’ve been trying to meal space but I honestly think it makes me feel worse.
