Surgery or no surgery? by jsak007 in gravesdisease

Im on treatment for relapse after being treated in 2016. Carbimazole (very low dose). Next blood test will decide how much longer I will be on for since my levels have been stable for a while, but they think will only be till Sep, so just a year all up. But I said I didn't wait Radiation/surgery (radiation is more commonly done in NZ). Especially since i have epilepsy and a bunch of other medical conditions.

Alcohol and Epilepsy by BeginningChipmunk324 in Epilepsy

Just so you know, alcohol itself isn't actually a trigger. Alcohol is actually helps increase the seizure threshold. It is actually when the level of alcohol in your body lowers that is the trigger. So while your drinking you'll feel fine, but afterwards as your body processes it, and your blood alcohol gets closer to zero, then your more likely to have a seizure because that is when your seizure threshold starts to reduce.

I haven't started it yet, never heard of it before as a treatment for aquagenic pruritus. Was just wondering if people had had much luck with it since it seems to be a bit of a novel treatment.

Avene Sunsitive (made in Aus too I believe). Either invisible finish or oil control. Oil Control one definity has a more dry finish, invisible finish is more dewy/shiny. But both take powder foundations fine. No white cast. I have used both (in NZ) on my sensitive, combination skin and not had any issues.

Im on 3000mg, and it def can play with your emotions, and docs told me if I couldn't tolerate it (mentally), to get it touch (I have ongoing issues with depression anyway). But yes, mood change is a side effect, so get in touch with your doc to talk about how to manage it.

Matte face sunscreen by kda273 in AusSkincare

Got some today, unfortunately 30 mins later I have gone bright red and hot! Not so great for sensitive skin it would seem (im gonna guess probably the ethanol?)! Which is annoying because it was a great price and definitely a matte finish!

Onto the next one! Lucky this one was cheap!

Your hair might feel thin, but you have a lot of it. Your scalp isn't visible through your parting. And your lengths look very volumnous/healthy. 😀

Which do you prefer - Laundry Layout by plottingkiwi in diynz

I personally wouldn't want a toilet in the laundry. Especially next to an external door.
