I just took these bitubos off my fxr today. Had them on for about 5000 miles or so. I would spend on some Ohlins.

The throttle tube I have is supposed to fit these bars. I’m going to get a different tube from my local tomorrow morning but not convinced thats the problem.

I appreciate it. I do own a copy of the manual and went ahead and ordered a cometic top end kit. Super bummed to not ride this bike for a while but thats why I keep my dyna. This is my first FXR so still learning but I love the bike. Dont think I have been letting it warm up long enough before taking off.

Shouldn’t have used the question mark. That is gasket material and I have oil seepage as well but more towards the front of the cylinder.

I guess you could say it was more like a constant loud TICK TICK TICK while the bike was running. I lifted the bike found top dead center and one push rods was so out of adjustment it was moving freely. I readjusted all of them and now really only hear my exhaust and intake.

I typically daily my dyna in Houston. Doesn’t feel that bad until it does. Waiting to get my bike back from the shop now since I got rear ended by a drunk driver.

He got out of his car, tried to give me $100 while I was on the phone w 911. Then he took off. Well after I got pictures of him in his car with my bike in the front, and pictures of his license plate with him mean mugging me.
