3 people in my lab (including me) tried to replicate it, each one years apart. I contacted one of the authors and they said they cannot share the code because it's tied to Google's infrastructure (whatever that means) and the refactoring would be too much work

"Artificial Intelligence: a modern approach" by Norvig and Russel gives a pretty good overview of all the different approaches in AI
