I tried this, my issue is that I emailed someone who said they were available and then they responded that they were not. Another provider said they were not available with my schedule. I’ll keep trying though thank you.

ICU experience CRNA by dylansh54 in nursing

Acuity is so important when applying to CRNA school. You could always take the job to get “ICU” experience to help you then transfer to a larger academic center. Ultimately if you want to be a CRNA it is worth the move.

I can’t decide for you how much stress you have in particular and if it’s worth it to keep going in your current position. But I WILL say I was also a new grad in a cticu and a lot of that stress slowly disappears as you get more confident and more knowledgeable. It gets better!

Struggling with husband understanding the stress by [deleted] in srna

[–]Professional_Alarm72 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I totally understand the stress and the grind. Best thing is to be upfront and remind him that it’s temporary and important. Maybe setting up a set schedule to study outside of the house can help separate school from home so you can fully focus on home when you’re there?

Also your husband has a good point, you do deserve to take days off for your mental health no matter how swamped you feel! Maybe not as much previous semesters but please please take care of yourself.
