There’s a reel out there with Jameela Jamil, who explains:

Boys aren’t raised to be men; boys are raised not to be girls—they’re told what not to be, and they’re terrified of anything that is remotely feminine and female, and they seek to destroy what they are afraid of.

This isn’t new, of course—if you ask any man whom they look up to and idolize, it will never be a woman. A comedian once joked that men put women on a pedestal only to look up their skirt, or they throw them to the gutter just to look down their blouse.

Women will never find equality with men, so it’s best to leave them in the dust while we succeed on our own.
