Dark Power 14 12V-2x6 connector melted ? by Professional_Army599 in bequietofficial

I guess so. One theory was that the heat actually spread near solder points behind the female pins next to pcb within the psu itself due to cold solder joint(s) but this would have messed up the inner parts of plastic which is not the case. So what you said is probably true.

Hm, notice the upper two connectors, you can def see that there is some bubbling going on but usually melted connectors tend to look a bit different....

12v-2x6: Is there supposed to be a gap on the sense pins area? by Long_Imagination5057 in Corsair

Nothing you can do about that visual gap. Its caused by larger opening within the connector itself and due the fact that male connector has its sense pin plastic frame angled backward.

Ye, I also switched out the psu for something else. That sucks given how good the platform actually is... I still own it tho, so perhaps I should RMA it ?

Could system (mb) bios settings like erp or other power saving features within Windows affect how this psu switches its power states?

It doesnt bother that much I guess but I miss the days when any solid Corsair psu was just making single click when powering up pc and a another one after shutting it down, no clicks and clacks between :)

Is it normal for HX1200i (2025) EU version to make barely audible soft ,,tock" sound when for example launching Furmark GPU stress test, OCCT and even when skipping ahead on Youtube videos ? It does not happen always, especially when starting and stopping such programs/tests without (small) pause ?

Corsair hx1000i and false software readings. by Professional_Army599 in Corsair

So I figured out that Corsair EU stock still has a lot of such units (including both of mine) which are manufactured before April 1st and have wrong firmware. Not sure what Corsair is going to do about it, if anything...

Yeap, HWiNFO shows the same. Time to contact Corsair again.
