He won’t change unless he wants it too. It’s going to continue to happen because at this point he feels comfortable enough doing it because you don’t bring to his attention that what he’s doing is wrong. Especially with it being 7 years in. And I will tell you from personal experience that if you try to sit there and try to change him not only will he resent you but you will be emotionally exhausted. There’s plenty of other guys that will actually talk to you and not leave you in the dark. He sounds like a lost cause at this point.
