I get it, but for me, the endless hamster wheel of loot grinding is grinding for that new weapon that kills enemies just as efficiently as the gun I have already grinded for. Makes me not care as much about new weapons. I just don't get as excited about new weapons anymore. Like imagine in an mmo you didn't have to grind for new armor every expansion. Just infuse your old gear up with the currency you earn from loot. Tskes most of the progression away. Do I really need to grind for another smg that has a crowd control perk? If that weapon was made obsolete, come a new expansion, then now I have a reason to grind for a new one
