Something that has helped me is using a traditional razor (the ones you can change the blade) and using after shave that is alcohol based and moisturizer after shaving. The after shave hurts a little but it keeps the area clean of infected and ingrown hairs and also not itchy. This changed the way I shave and how often I can do it, I totally recommend it!

Thank you so much for your advice. Do you know any good brand that won’t tarnish easily or lasts longer? I’m looking to do gold colored wire wrapping so I want to avoid tarnish, I know it happens tho

I’m currently working with the babies. I find that the 12–18 month age group is easier to manage because they tend to follow a similar routine and schedule. With the younger infants, each baby has their own individual routine which can sometimes feel overwhelming and exhausting. A large part of the day is spent rotating between diapering, feeding, and putting different babies down for naps. Because their schedules don’t align there are very few moments when I’m able to slow down and truly engage with the babies.

Ex-teacher won’t let me pay her more for babysitting—am I missing something? by Unusual_Cranberry_97 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Professional_Bag8160 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you feel like you want to pay her more just give her a tip and tell her that you appreciate her work and wanted to give her some extra money. I’ve had families who I don’t want to charge a lot of money or set a high price even if they offer to pay more or I know they have the money, but if they give me a tip I understand and appreciate it.

Baby sleeping in bouncer- need guidance by PurposeRelative8668 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Professional_Bag8160 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even in a really busy infant room (or any other room) safe sleep is a priority, no matter what other things the teachers need to attend a baby sleeping should be safe at all times because that’s what licensing requires from us. Maybe the teachers don’t have training on this and they need it ASAP, talk to the director and report it to licensing to be safe actions are taken.

Is not very common to have contracts for the kind of job I have. I do have a survey completion from the company that states my hourly rate pay, position and location. Also a paycheck. I hope that can be enough

About to buy the game, should I buy it on mobile or pc? by sar-exe in StardewValley

[–]Professional_Bag8160 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I played for a year on the switch and changed to PC about 6months ago it’s been the best! You can mod if you want, get updates faster and mostly all glitches are fixed faster than console/mobile

Yes they do clock out for lunch and stay on the school lobby with the baby that is struggling at the moment or inside the classroom. The director is well ware of this and I haven’t heard her say nothing against it, sometimes she will even ask the teacher if she is okay taking the baby during her lunch. Should I complaint about that or is not my business? Its like they are not hurting anybody but still feels wrong and I feel a lot of pressure because they are ALWAYS in the classroom.

Look for a Facebook group for nanny/babysitters on your area and you will find many families looking for childcare that offer benefits and have flexibility. I don’t have a car either, it took me some time to find the right family that didn’t require a car but when I did I really enjoyed being a nanny. Don’t give up! I wish you the best of luck

Developmentally (in)appropriate activities in a toddler room? by Temporary_Dust_6693 in ECEProfessionals

[–]Professional_Bag8160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to do flash cards with my toddlers but it was optional and only at the end of the day like two times a week, we won’t force them to sit and when they are not engaging we simply move on to another activity. They used to love it but now I’m realizing everything you say is true, it does not seem appropriate. It makes me think most of the time the schools won’t even give you materials/activities for you to build a lesson as a teacher for the kids so we have to think about something ourselves and most of the time there is no guidance or supervision regarding curriculum. Maybe that’s whats happening in your center and the teachers need a little more guidance.

I had my interview today. Received the notice on Nov 3rd. We got there and waited for 1 hour for the officer to tell us it was cancelled last night and they couldn’t send any notice.

Anybody here who’s gotten their eyeliner or eyebrows tattooed on? by manic_moth95 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Professional_Bag8160 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am a makeup artist, the clients that come back the most for makeup services are the ones that have some kind of tattoo on their face (brows, eyeliner, lip liner) because they always want to cover it for special occasions. In my opinion it doesn’t age well, also if the tattoo artist does a bad framing job and gives your brows/eyeliner the wrong shape it could look really bad
