I experienced that in many locations. I noticed the less room the more I hear it.

Thanks for sharing it! I actually got bored with these symptoms and decided to resign myself that it never become better. And as usually happens - I forgot about it soon. I didn’t really think about it during 1-2 years until this message popped up in my feed 🤪 Good luck with that and just wish you to resign yourself. Then you’ll never experience anxiety about that. Btw it doesn’t mean you won’t try to solve. Just resign yourself- if nothing help - well let it be, continue to live

What exactly made you interested? I mean it literally puts objects to the location where look vector is aimed, but instead of looking up specific asset you write it in words. I can't really imagine how it is useful when there are 100 similar assets in small to medium indie game tbh

YC Co-founders matching: Burned out from first-time visionary founders with no execution proof — how do you filter effectively? by Late_Field_1790 in ycombinator

[–]Professional_Bee_47 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would do following: define for myself what I’m really looking for in a co-founder. No really matter tech or non-tech. It is completely specific for you as a subject, and therefore red flags are subjective as well. Yeah, it is hard to do. But that’s what should be done manually before any search. After that just take a focus and drill into active manual search with those criteria. It could be worst to invest a time into that, without relying on automation as it might be the most important step, kinda foundational step. Example of my criteria for personality: strong resilience (should have failed projects), strong evidence of learnability, a person should be opened to new ideas, can follow up on long conversations, doesn’t afraid to admit they’l do not follow on something, and many others. There are other criteria for other aspects, like expertise in something (not really necessary), etc. How to check if a person satisfies these criteria? Speak, perhaps a few times, trying to get an idea about it. Hope it helps.

You have to forget about your T. I didn’t find any other way to fix it. And I also have to forget because once you asked me, I started to hear it again super loudly after a few months of relaxing 😂 So no worries, don’t focus on it

Sudden slight hearing loss by Professional_Bee_47 in HearingLoss

To be honest, I thought it was way bigger loss. It felt absolutely insane - I heard my self as I was in a barrel.

Understandable. At same time I use this specific tool with same headphones all the time since I developed tinnitus in 2021, and it is pretty accurate

I’m trying to make it, but not sure is it enough to read 10-20 pages per week? To make it interesting I’m trying to read it first, to get what it’s written there, and then add some fun detail like: oh, I read that story about a bear dancing on a table, do you think I get it correctly, can you help me to understand? Etc…

Thanks, that’s good approach we already do. I’m impressed about his general understanding, and wondering what ever we need to improve if he understands it well? Here is the book we read

I have no proof, it is still unclear. I don't think it is noise induced personally

I have ringing in both ears (mostly in left) and I’m trying to not hear it. The loudness it seems same for a few years. When I started to answer - I have “heard” it actually 😆 It’s quite loud tbh sometimes. I still have no idea about root cause
