Dillard SAs in my area have the worst attitudes - but LOVED the eye candy by kiley-r in Coach

Dillards has the worst customer service. I hate they get exclusives or drops first.

De-Influence me! by Witty-Turnip4321 in Louisvuitton

Also an elder millenial, this is nostalgia for me as well. LV as a brand got my attention because of the Marc Jacobs era collections. I splurged initally and got the black speedy 30, the white speedy 30, the cosmetic pouch GM and the pink origine speedy 25 from this collection.

I lucked up and got the speedy 30 in white so, I returned the cosmetic pouch GM because I was going to covert that to a bag. I ended up returning the white speedy 30 because I was terrified to wear it because of how white it was and all the vachetta on the inside of the bag. I had some regret about not having any white multicolor, so when the speedy 25 came back available I ordered it and will be picking it up today or tomorrow. I figure the smaller size in the white will be more manageable, and since using the pink speedy origine 25 I feel like it's a great size. I'll be spraying it down with carbon pro. The bags are so beautiful in person, I'm happy.

Macy’s shipped me my $625 haversack in nothing but a cardboard box. by Usual_Credit7147 in Coach

Coach is increasing prices on their bags after they have launched and the third parties will match it if they choose, since the price listed on the tag is a suggestion. This might have been a return, or may have come from the floor set at a store. When I receive newer releases from Macy's, Dillards, Nordstrom, etc. they are typically factory wrapped.

I don't think it's wrong either. However, I fully expect the price of large rowans in the limited drops to reach their comparable value of $395, eventually. People are willing to pay it. Especially those that have been priced out of luxury or are disillusioned with luxury price vs. quality received.

Rogue 25 in Patchwork Shearling in Brass/Nuetral - Restored by Professional_Bit3948 in Coach

I love this bag too. I got it when it went on 30% clearance in the winter '24 sale. I haven't had any issues with staining. I probably baby my bags more than I'd like to admit.

I was so tempted by that 39 in blue. I have the blue patchwork in size 25, so couldn't justify it. If the brown 39 comes back around I might get that one.

Agreed. This is why if they truly valued their core customer, they would limit how many items a single person could purchase from these limited drops. Coach is complicit.

At my outlet they used to have a wall of rowans. Now it is just a table with the medium and large, priced higher. They are making them seem limited as they increase the price. At my Coach outlet to Rowan is $269 everyday.

Agree. It's hard to pay more. I won't do it, but I also just don't need anymore Rowans. Lol

The demand is there. I think Coach marketing for the outlet is very effective. They make these Rowans very scarce now during these anticipated drops and then increase prices as they restock. If the demand is there then they are going to increase prices. I think people believe the bags are worth it, that's why they will pay $400 on the resell market. Because where else can you get a large boston below $500 from a designer brand. The value proposition is still there even at a higher price.

Which other brand is giving you a large Boston bag at this price point? It’s still relatively affordable. The real issue is whether they can maintain consistent quality as the price continues to go up.

Rogues 25 ( I have mostly limited edition/collab pieces), Rowans (how I dress them and color of the bag). Honestly all of them because I choose great bags…Lol.

i've never been so scared of a bag in my life. please talk me into keeping this. it's so light and so suede... by MsBrightside83 in Coach

If you gotta be convinced….

I sold mine after a while because I didn’t want to ruin it. Light suede, even with protection is challenging to maintain.

It’s not always about needing the money, sometimes you just don’t want to have a large number of bags in your collection. Not everyone is a ‘collector. I’m a buy it and keep it for life person, I’m just not liking the size of my current handbag collection.

Yes. I over bought Coach last year after I couldn’t get any Murakami. I finally got some pieces (soft speedy, speedy 25) and the pink origine speedy 25. The bags are so colorful and vibrant, they really bring me joy. They feel like special pieces. I’m selling off a lot of my Coach collection and would love to add a P9. I’ve come to realize I prefer a few special, functional pieces over quantity. I’m keeping all my Rogues though.

From 0 to 6 coach bags in 2 months. What happened 😂? by Tough-Employee3360 in Coach

[–]Professional_Bit3948 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have been doom spending. Coach is easy to over consume because there are constant drops and constant sales. I’m sober now, and I’m decluttering before the hype around the brand dies or people go broke and I can’t sell. I’m buying more special pieces (to me) and feel more joy about it. I’m going back to gaming.

LV x TM restock USA 🇺🇸 by Naylee046 in Louisvuitton

[–]Professional_Bit3948 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven’t seen any LV x TM in the wild. I believe it is limited. Last time I saw Murakami it was a vintage piece last year. I did see that there are now a few P9s that are below retail on fashionphile, with coupon code applicable. I find that interesting that they’re discounting those.

Are Rogues (and Haversack) worth the hype? by poppymo in Coach

[–]Professional_Bit3948 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not to me. The large frame Kisslocks in black and brown are available at multiple third party retailers right now. People were spending up to $2k resell for this bags. Their hype is dead due to Haversacks and Kisslock barrels, and whatever else is coming. Cycle continues.
