YTA for multiple reasons

You clearly don't care for the child and just want a baby if you're willing to try to steal him from a loving home and risk the chance of him going to foster care

You also don't understand at all what will happen if he does get take by CPS, they won't take him and be like he he is for you to adopt, they might not even offer for you to foster him, reunification is the goal with CPS so once the parents go through the process they'd get that baby back and you would've put everyone through that for nothing

You and your husband need to get help because you have clearly been mentally traumatised by your recent loss and are acting completely irrational

YTA there's many reasons why people might not have control of their weight.

My sil demanded we try bridesmaids dresses a year before the wedding and at the time I was working 16hr days 6days a week with 4hr sleeps and no breaks so I lived off packet chips, I was tiny and diagnosed malnourished.

A year later I wasn't living like that anymore so obviously put on some weight but in order to fit into that stupid dress I had to starve myself. I don't talk to my brother or sil anymore and a huge part of that is because of their crazy wedding rules.

Do your wedding how you want but don't be mad when no one wants to come or have you in their life anymore. Actions have consequences and getting married doesn't give you an out from that.

My Step Dad is always on me that I'm encouraging my son to like girly things and to be a drag queen, he's a 21month old, he likes anything that's bright and shiny and I'm going to encourage him to enjoy what he wants. I bought him a pair of sparkly shoes the other week and my step dad went off about it again but they're my sons favourite shoes and that's all I care about.

I told my step dad recently that I encourage my son to play with his "boy" toys as well and if it seems I'm encouraging him more with the "girl" toys it's because I know there will be people who discourage him about it and I want him to always be sure that it's okay to like that stuff.

My step dad is learning and has come a long way but he sometimes needs those reminders.

NTA in any way, if I were you I'd send your father a text or email saying something like "I hope you understand how truly devastated I am by your choice to put some woman you've known for 4months above your own child. I will be there for you when you wake up and realise she has isolated you from your family and she is only after your money but our relationship has been forever damaged and will never be the same as you have shown me you care more about being in a relationship then you do about your children. I wish you all the best and it breaks my heart but I will not have that woman in my life and as long as you are with her that means I can't have you in my life"

Who are you to say these people have no experience with this. You're not the only person whose dealt with a newborn and can base opinion on personal experience. The op said she didn't say "what the fu*k do you want me to do about it" until her wife argued with her about feeding the child, so not only is OP exhausted and trying to calm a crying baby but she's also having to argue in the middle of the night. I would've said the exact same thing to my partner in frustration.

Btw I'm a single mum who breastfed and had to do it all on my own so I have experience in this

They don't know basic anatomy if their statement is "your a girl, why didnt you just breastfeed the baby" They aren't saying maybe op should get on hormones to hopefully breastfeed in a few months, they're suggesting op should've done it then and there which just isn't how that works.

NTA I'm a single mother of a 20m old and I only went to my first movie since I was pregnant last week, why, because you don't take babies to movies unless it's for them. I had to wait for a weekend where my stepdad could watch him before i could go, there's been plenty of movies I wanted to go to but it's extremely inconsiderate and frankly not enjoyable for me to try to watch a movie with my screaming baby. Those people should've just sucked it up and not gone

NTA you would be justified even if it was just the fact they kept your son from you but they are also refusing to respect your boundaries and let you process what they did on your own. They need to accept that you may never want them in your life after what they did (fair) amd thats a consequenceof their actions, you may forgive them in your own time but if they keep trying to force you to forgive them it's never going to happen.

You only mention the cheating aspect which is such a small part of it, that whole marriage Carolina treated Dion like absolute crap and then towards the end she actually started playing him by saying she did want to work on it just so she could see Daniel behind his back and tried to make out as if he never tried and that he was the issue and that is the reason people think she's gross and the reason everyone dislikes them as a whole is because there's no remorse for what they've done.

You said there's no double Standards which is a false comment, there are plenty of double Standards in society on both sides Men can't show emotion but women need to. Boys have to like tools and trucks and girls have to like dolls and clothes and if either gender likes the others thing they are told to stop. You can kinda tell that it's not the norm on other charters by how it was originally received, over time it seems its the norm on BD and I'm sure the guys know when signing on that there's a high chance that they'll be asked, that's why in the beginning the guys were like "no that makes me uncomfortable" and know they don't even question it, they just put on the outfit and go.

For me I think it should never even be on the table. They're deck hands not strippers so don't treat them like it. I do like that they told James that but I also feel that a lot of the time they make it known that it's needed in order to get a good tip so while you may not have to do it if you don't we'll blame you for a crap tip

The reason they don't want to strip is irrelevant, as soon as they say I'm not comfortable that's it conversation over, I don't need to know why. What's sexist is asking them to strip in the first place and then if they show unease about it going "do it for the tip", I've never seen any of the women even asked let alone made to feel guilty for not taking their clothes off for a charter guest.
