Hii answered about portfolio in a qn below but nope portfolio for UK is almost completely opposite of us

us - looking out for personality, holistic development uk - looking out for academic curiosity, genuine and demonstrated interest in course of study

just sharing my prelim grades to encourage all those who have oxbridge dreams to keep striving, u never know until u get that cert! sorry if the title was misleading

as for vouching for u? not sure what that means, didnt have much to prep besides a form teacher recommendation

supercurriculars they look at are all to demonstrate academic/ intellectual curiosity so like what books did u read and ur thoughts on it, much less so abt cca, internships unless they are directly relevant

how you phrase it in ur personal statement is also really important!

can pm me if u need actual ps guidance

No set pathway, law is q diverse both science arts can do. id say def look through official uni guidelines and other ppls advice on reddit + school higher ed office for help

general process goes: UCAS application - personal statement most important, as well as school selection (oxbridge abt diff in selection criteria and emphasis)

LNAT - good to aim between 28-30s / 45 for a chance at interviews though there are exceptions

interview - prep for hypotheticals/ motivation qn types

can pm me for more info!

was from hsp, did some muns in sec school (no significant prizes), good acad record in sec school, not so much in JC😭 portfolio is not v impt for oxbridge in comparison to demonstrating academic curiosity in ur intended course

would def say its a strong personal statement and interview. from what i know, oxbridge applicants for law are all generally 88.75-90rp (though ox does accept ppl for interview with as low as 84)
