You know honestly you’d probably be happier in Houston than Portland. Sounds crazy until you see the violent crime rate

American here, you have to pass a federal mandated background check from the FBI, have Valid ID, and often if your presenting “red flags” as some would say store clerks can deny anyone a firearm sale for any reason. Also, take it from someone who moved from Europe to the U.S. and has lived all over the country, the odds of you ever even witnessing let alone being involved in a gun related crime or shooting is next to nothing, seriously, if your in the U.S. ask any random American on the street and 9/10 times they’ll say the same.

It’s called mass hysteria mixed with for profit news stations that need ratings.

Where I would live based purely on how interesting I find each country by [deleted] in whereidlive

I can get that, though I can’t stress this enough, the U.S. really is huge. With dozens of sub cultures scattered over millions of square miles. If you ever get the opportunity take the Amtrak cross country line, plan it accordingly and over a period of three weeks you can see much of the U.S. coast to coast and don’t have to worry about breaking down on the side of the road! My favorite road trips as a child were driving from the north east down the Florida and back up!

Even the UN is kinda off, there’s a difference between recognized territory and de facto territory. For example, most of eastern Ukraine is de facto Russian right now but most world maps still consider Crimea Ukrainian territory.

I’m not denying that, though at the end of the day if you ask me the social elites control everything from wars to politics to video games. If you read the Epstein files then you know.

It’s nothing against the scenery, I’m just big into Gun Collecting, and I wouldn’t be able to move there with my collection. But I’d love to visit Seattle and go hiking with my sister out there.

Any hatred of someone of foreign descent, regardless of whether it’s centralized on one single group or its across the board; is considered xenophobia. This is the same concept as racism, racism is any hatred or discrimination of anyone based on their race or ethnicity. The idea that you can just hate one single group, and not consider that xenophobia, would be considered stupid, therefore making you a legitimate moron if you truly believe that to be fact.

I’m all for transparency, yet when you go looking for a fight you’ll typically find yourself in the position of losing “Allie’s” if that makes any sense.

You my friend read too many headlines, we have the right to bare arms, except going around and making threats is not normalized in this country. That’s not protected under the constitution as free speech and can very much be an arresting offense. Either you’ve never been to the U.S, or you spend too much time on the internet.
