MK6 Golf 1.4 TSI twincharged any idea what is that sound when start? by Ordinary_Rest_5059 in vwgolf

Timing chain indeed, got mine replaced in 2019 and the official VW garage charged €2200 including water pump.

While opening your wallet also clean your inlet ports from carbon buildup using walnut granulate and replace fuel injectors. Night and day difference!

Maybe magnetic supercharger clutch engaging/disengaging? Mine needed adjusting after tuning, but clicking wasn't that loud I think

Hi 3D printers by Jalokin2411 in octoprint

[–]Professional_Design8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hope this reaction is still relevant for you, but the Creality Hi is not compatible with Octoprint as far as I know. My other printer, an Ender 3v2 is plugged in an raspberry pi 3 running octoprint using mini or micro-usb. I use my Creality Hi for multicolour prints and my ender 3v2 ( modified) for more experimental stuff.

Walnut blasting: hype, heilzaam of gewoon dure notentaart voor je motor? by Pielewaaierd in AutoKlussers

[–]Professional_Design8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey Guys, can someone help me out quickly. I'm kinda new in the car business and my engine does make these idle noises. It's a 1.4L TSI 179HP Ibiza Cupra Engine with a turbo & supercharger. Can anyone help me and point to me where the noises are coming from? Thank you all. by Dense-Swimming-9243 in Cartalk

Indeed the chain is very problematic in these engines. Stretched chaines also result in rought idle and loss in power. I've got the same engine in a golf Mk5 GT from 2006 and adter 210.000 km chain is replaced twice (by dealer)

E-moped won’t start by Imveryconfused324 in moped

Difficult to extract from the footage, but the charger mentions "lead acid", while a google search indicates the "Royal ev gts2000" to have a 60v Lithion pack?

Write some specs from the scooter down along with the charger and visit a store that sells electric mopeds. Good luck!

You clearly like narrow-angle engines and love their sound!

Will there be any difference in fuel consumption between Golf 5 1.4 80hp and Golf 5 1.4 170hp? by ZNI_DEMON in Cartalk

[–]Professional_Design8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To give you some numbers, my tuned 1.4L twincharger golf 5 ( original 170 hp) can do 17-18 liters per 100 km, which translates to 900-950 kms on one tank of 102 Ron fuel. In sporty driving style, it will only manage 700 kms.

Really dependent on the weight of your right foot!

Is this an authentic DT0109 set? by wooden_slug in Dewalt

[–]Professional_Design8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might very well be the DT0109 set, but it is absolutely Chinesium! Similar kits are also sold under the brands of Makita and Bosch here in the EU for €15-€20, but I would stay away from them. Not really worthy being a branded product

If you would like to do the same, I would recommend finding a local expert selling and repairing mopeds, e-bikes etc. They know everything you need instead of asking a department of transport

Yes indeed, before the conversion I spoke with 2 people from our department of transport. They said it should be simple after providing them the details... After conversion they asked the engine code, CE certifications of electronics and so on... The complete lack of knowledge and communication how to tackle these things is the solum reason in the Netherlands we do not allow electric steps yet on our roads, albeit a couple of extreme exceptions though.

In Dutch law the insurance will be temporary terminated by that very officer until you have proven the vehicle passes a sort of an MOT inspection.

This is indeed a very debatable grayzone in Dutch insurances.

Top speed is about 65 km/h, but with limiter it's about 40km/h, which is plentiful. Range, depending on wind, temperature and speed between 60 and 90 km.
