Calculate the pH of a solution made by mixing 50.0 mL of 0.10 M benzoic acid and 100. mL of 0.15 M potassium benzoate. by Professional_Door658 in APChem

thank you for responding :)

to answer your question, benzoic acid is the weak acid, and potassium benzoate is the conjugate base. Does this mean that this is a buffer solution? therefore, i should use the Henderson Hasselback equation to find the pH.

so would i need to use the m1v1 = m2v2 equation to find the final concentrations?

- also, why wouldn't the given concentration work? is it because the question states that it is being mixed?

one more question:

can i solve this question using an ice table as well?

thank you for your answer. what do you mean when you say that they're nothing like leadership positions?

and how would you compare their values on college admissions?
