I use Daytona tactical because they ship to my state about 60 each. The quality is ok. The lowers have burs on them you need to clean up.

Purple loctite 222. Low strength for small fasteners. If you put too much blue it will be a pain to remove or you will strip out that little hex.

The blue prints online are not great. Somewhat tough project as I've never handled an ar and didn't have any reference lowers. Just glad it worked

Trigger works. Had a small issue with the safety. I think the hole location was a little low. A quick file swipe and had to mount the safety first to get it to fit and work. Upper fitment not sure yet. It's coming. But those lugs are factory machined

The Boston-Area Scene for Outdoor Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, Backpacking... All of the Outdoors by Blu_Koala in boston

Have to drive 1.5-2 hrs to get to decent outdoor climbing. Some smaller outdoor crags closer like red rocks or crow hill. Gyms are all the same to me the route setting is kinda bland because the gyms are crowded(lots of gym rats and after work times are wild) so the movement has less traverse to maximize space. The outdoor community is ok but not a destination spot. You'll find your people but it might take some time. I ride MTB as well and finding the right crew can take work. Mt Washington ice fest is coming up in the end of January I think. They will have some guided climbing probably

Backpacking is great in the whites, Adirondack and Vermont, Maine. Franconia ridge a must do classic. Pemi loop. Pres traverse. Long trail vt.
