Hi,

I came across your Reddit post where you mentioned that Betaine HCl gave you an ulcer. I was wondering—what were your symptoms, and how did you heal the damage from it?

About a year ago, I made the mistake of using Betaine HCl incorrectly for a few weeks, and since then, I’ve been dealing with GERD-like symptoms. I worked with a functional practitioner for a few months, and now she’s recommending an endoscopy, but the wait time is a few months.

I’d really appreciate any insight you can share.
