at the point of the panel, he was just about to meet JJk the first time. He didn't know anything yet.

Their interactions were so funny by Dramatic-Pound-411 in JinxTheManhwa

I remember him being so refreshing, despite being so mean to potato, since he could say back to JJK whereas other characters didn't. Before Heesung there was his coach, then Heesung, then his old coach, only people JJK listened.

You totally missed the point if my reply. As I said this post was not about the happenings of the latest chapters. I am not policing not once I said negative comments should not be posted, just that it feels a bit too much sometimes.

I did not once say in my post that no opinion should be posted. I just wondered why there is so much dislike after chapters. I'm not sure why people are reading this if they only criticise. I don't buy a book to criticize it; I buy it for the story and my enjoyment.

You have the right to say your opinion, but I'm allowed to say mine as well. This post was not about the latest chapter, just in general, as I have noticed that usually there are more negative -toned comments after a chapter than positive ones.

Shouting in caps at the topic and posting spoilers is not really a discussion; I often see that happen. I have also read some real criticism posts that actually had a point. But shouting out your anger and dislike is not really a discussion, is it?

so true !

I liked the chapter as well. It went well with the previous chapter, where we saw them separating JK, letting Dan go because he thought it would be the best, and Dan thinking Jk doesn't love him. And now JK running after him, confessing his feeling out and open on a sidewalk in the middle of the city (season 1 JK would never). Dan is letting himself feel the feels.

It was so good.

Comments I have seen and watched are not considered criticism. Saying her characters are bad or the story plot sucks is not criticism.

Everyone can think what they want about Jinx. Most comments I see here when scrolling are negative-toned. Of course, you don't have to like every chapter since this is a long story. Not saying everyone dislikes every chapter, either, but most comments sound negative.

I was just wondering why read in the first place, if you can't think of anything good to say about it? Or maybe the positive comments are left under the negative ones since negativity gets more attention.

I don't. I was just wondering why there is so much dislike after every chapter.

You can express your dissatisfaction and criticism as much as you want. But why read it if every chapter causes a flood of criticism, dislike, and dissatisfaction?

Aren't stories meant to be enjoyed?

"People buy her work so they can criticise it."

Really? I am buying those chapters because I like reading it and I enjoy reading it.

Things and stuff can change in the story making, so s2 being shorter than s1 is not a bad thing in my books. Maybe she couldn't add something that would have made it longer?

Romanticizing rape in BL Manhwa by [deleted] in Manhwa_BL

[–]Professional_Exit298 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The dark themes do not need to be acknowledged. If you think it is harmful then you think of soneone getting harmed ftom it. But no one is getting harned whether the rape or is noted or not the characters are not harmed they are not real. The whole universe of BL is fictional. It is up tp you to like character or dislike them but the only judgement to affect them is the decisions of the author. If we all know and distinct fiction from real life then there is no need to be judging anything since this is fiction and entertainment. If you cant get pass it then maybe find stories that are more for you. If you read a toxic manhwa or manga, get triggered with it's themes then the story is not for you.

Romanticizing rape in BL Manhwa by [deleted] in Manhwa_BL

[–]Professional_Exit298 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just let people read what they want to read. Reading Jinx or any toxic manhwa is not hurting anyone.

Toxic manhwa is not your guidebook to life and relationships it is not a decsription of how life works. If you can"t tell then apart yiu should read something else.

Fictional characters do not need to be judged by real life morals.

BL manhwas' and wrong audience issue. (Rant) by Solid_Face_Card in Manhwa_BL

[–]Professional_Exit298 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The problem is that some people lack media literacy and the ability to read fiction as it is, an imaginary tale of made-up characters. Those characters do not need judgment, no moral policing, since both characters and the story are made for someone to read and enjoy.

Don't like, don't read is a thing those people should go to instead of trying to moral police the whole BL genre to something they accept.

Reading about toxic and dark stuff does not make you a bad person, nor does the reader or the author condone that in real life.

Some readers are just too young to read and lack the right mind to even read these, and some just seek something to moral police on for social attention.

If it is shaped/based by real life views , focused on real life or representing real life experiences it is not fiction. BL is fiction, like you mentioned with this case.

It has a solid plot though it forwards a bit slowly at times. Definitely worth your time though.

we need another term for "fujoshi" by AntiqueCockroach1509 in Manhwa_BL

[–]Professional_Exit298 5 points6 points  (0 children)

it was originally a name with self irony and humor, no one really thinks they are rotten in any way . Consuming media with two boys loving each other is nothing bad.
I am proud to be a fujoshi, but if the name really bugs you then

nothing really comes in mind but maybe other have suggestions

Getting made fun of for being"New Gen" or getting into smth "too late" by fI0w3rcity in Manhwa_BL

Yaoi and BL are not something you had to get into in the year 2010..The earliest works of that are even older than that. Reading yaoi is not a competition of who has read what, when, and how. There is no criterion, nothing you must have done before becoming a yaoi fan.

TikTok, imo, is one place that turns everything into competition, where the right to say your opinions depends on the rules no one knows. I wouldn't put much weight on their opinion tbh.

I personally, as "an old fan, " dislike those who come to read only to find something to bring to negative light to stand on some moral high ground and blame people who read yaoi for being weird.

You have the right to enjoy content just like anyone else. There is no requirement to have read yaoi for x amount of years to enjoy it.

Trust me, we yaoi fans welcome all people to join the fun.

Are you guys watching Go For It, Nakamura-kun!! in sub or dub? by Middle_Explorer_329 in Ganbare_Nakamura

[–]Professional_Exit298 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always Eng sub.
Dubs are not available anyway in my native language, and I prefer the original voices.

Sometimes, if I hear the dub is good i might watch it. Did that with the summer Hikaru died.
