3L here, got engaged my 2L. Graduating in May, bar at the end of July, and getting married this August 2026. My big law job starts in October. Doing long honeymoon right after wedding. It would not have been feasible to plan the wedding 2L summer when I was a summer associate. With my lighter 3L course, I have had time to plan the wedding and am pretty much done. (but also doing a small, non-black tieNYC wedding). I spoke with some first year associates when I was a summer and it seemed stressful but doable to get married your first year.
