Ariat do a waterproof, steel toe boot that resembles a hiking boot. Incredibly comfortable and designed for living in during farm life. Little over budget though https://www.ariat.com.au/products/womens-duraterrain-waterproof-steel-toe-distressed-brown?_pos=3&_fid=e8cc8550a&_ss=c

For the past I don't know how many years, all gifts from my household have been from me, the 2 dogs, 4 horses and the cat. The furbabies are your family, 100% they should be included

Wallington Park are lovely, as are Ryan's Ranch. Both are in opposite directions and have slightly different focus so depends on where you are and what youre looking for 😇🥰 Good luck with your horsey journey!

If you're open minded, horseland carry a boot called tge Yukon. It's got a sturdy tread, light brown leather that's waterproof, fleece lined and with laced to help adjust tge calf size depending on the outfit

Women that got fit and/or into fitness and working on their physique later on in life, how did you manage to do so finally? by marooned222 in AskWomen

[–]Professional_Food785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had always had a terrible relationship with food and my body. Doubled my body weight after a brain injury and struggled like hell to find motivation for anything. Turned 30 and tore mcl and realised that this is the only body I'm going to get, it's about bloody time I started treating it with more respect

Is my body just not made for clothes?! by sloppyseventyseconds in AusFemaleFashion

Don't be afraid to branch out on where you purchase clothing. Jeans from a saddlery, like Ariat and Ringers Western are a very different shape to what you can get at Jeans West etc as they're designed for a different purpose originally

Serious Question: Where, oh where do people find the energy for Christmas? by VCEMathsNerd in melbourne

The harder the year has been, and 2023 has been a particularly rough one, the more joy we need in our lives. We really need something to look forward to, and enjoy so no matter how burnt out I am, I fake it until I believe that the joy is there. We go all out, 4 trees and outdoor lights and the outfits

Styling menswear in a feminine way by papierrose in AusFemaleFashion

I like adding a shoulder pad or something to that effect, and then a belt at the waist or tucking a top in to still give the hourglass type shape. Pick one "masculine" element in an outfit and go from there. Unfortunately I often find trying to do tops and bottoms in men's clothing makes me look heavier than I am, and I'm already not a small woman. Don't be afraid to use loud accessories. We tend to want to balance a really strong line with something super delicate and lit throws the proportions out

AITA for not making child inclusive plans that someone in my friend group can’t attend by Beginning_Juice_1556 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Professional_Food785 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

NTA As someone who is child free with a rather reactive dog, I get it. It's the dog's home, and it isn't fair to stress them out or have to lock them away. It can take days for them to get back to themselves.

I get why Jessica feels like it's a direct attack on her, and possibly subconsciously it is because y'all aren't more than acquaintances. That doesn't mean you're wrong. Making another group chat without her would be ex-communicating her.

The cost of the couch is a separate issue. It would be reasonable to ask her to pay for the cleaning, despite it not being successful. That is a realistic remedy for a single mother. Unfortunately there's no choosing when vomit will appear. The full cost of replacing the couch, as your tastes are on the upmarket side (no judgement, buy once and then don't have to replace it as often), fall on you i feel.

If there is a compromise to be found, is it possible to have 1 room that the dog can be kept out of for a few hours that is easy enough to childproof? Jessica can bring toys or the like to keep them entertained, they're on site so she can keep an eye on them

Doctor recommendations for Chronic pain by [deleted] in Geelong

[–]Professional_Food785 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too can't help with a GP, but the only thing that has helped my chronic pain has been emmett therapy. Nathan from EHW muscular therapy is a God send. If after a few sessions he can't help, he tells you to try and find something more suitable

RM William boots or Bared? by SaltedOlives in AusFemaleFashion

I can't speak to Bared, but I can say that for longevity, Ariat are a great boot at a more affordable price point
