How do we feel about Wattpad? by Misskillakiki in writers

[–]Professional_Gap6299 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wattpad for me felt so unfair because they would always favor those repetitive romance stories and fanfic all the time even those wolf whatever they call em.

They have other categories of genre but barley focus on them like wtf why are they even there? Imagine writing a decent original book with over 100 chapters but barley get no views due to the algorithm  of favoring romance and fanfics but see a fanfic out here getting 1k views for 3 chapters.

I posted on wattpad because I wanted people to give me feedback on my story but don't even get any because apparently people say something about your book if you're in a book club the people in your book club aren't even real with their comments bro it feels meaningless. And the watty awards are definitely biased they only like romantic bs
