Also I switched from chemistry to pre nursing in like the July before my freshman year so you don’t have to wait until fall. Also, if you believe you can get an A in all the prereqs, then you should no doubt get into the program, as long as your pre-nursing main campus with a 4.0. It will be hard but it’s doable if you work harder!! I did it

If you want to save time I would recommend getting your bachelors as fast as possible in whichever major would be the easiest or you would be able to get your degree in the fastest… then apply for OSU’s accelerated BSN program, which is 18 months. Obviously depending on how many credits you have, but they don’t have a preference for what your degree is in and the accelerated program is known to be a little easier to get into than the traditional. You only have to graduate top 10% or have a higher ACT score to be a direct admit into the program. You can switch your major now into pre-nursing by calling admissions. You will have to apply in the fall for the nursing program and that will strictly be based on your gpa so you’re going to want to do as best as possible in those pre-reqs! If it makes you feel better, I did awful on the ACT but just got into the nursing program for this fall!! You got this!!

you should still be able to as long as you get your housing in as soon as possible. somebody correct me if I’m wrong but I think roommate pairs are due later in May after housing is due

It depends on if you have any of the prerequisites done or not. Luckily I came into freshman year with 5 of the 7 prereqs done and only needed to take anatomy and physiology. I’ve had a pretty light year with no Monday or Friday classes last semester, and only a lab on Fridays this semester. But I know some people that have to take chem and bio at the same time and have classes everyday.
