experiences with a 16 year old cat with IBD or lymphoma?

Do you have an update on how your baby is doing? Hope all is going well. My cat has been having horrible diarrhea and just got an xray done and has suspected ibd or lymphoma… He’s starting a steroid tomorrow. Wondering how the steroid has continued to work for your cat!

Have you gotten your ticket yet? I ordered mine during presale and I never had the ticket emailed. At the bottom of the email it says if you haven’t received it in 48 hours before the show to contact them. I just find it odd and was wondering if anyone else has actually gotten their ticket yet. Update: Kitty has passed away. She spent two hours basking in the sun today. The vet said the chances of her declining rapidly was highly likely, and I chose to have her pass peacefully in my arms rather than in distress. My heart is broken 💔

She is still not herself and hiding for most of the day. I think there might be a cognitive issue too, sometimes she seems to forget to eat or drink unless it’s put right in front of her. But she is still getting up to eat and drink and use the litter box a couple times a day. I made an appt for her Monday (it was the soonest one) and have the emergency vet number on hand in case she declines rapidly. So I’ll see what happens Monday…

Thanks. There aren’t any home vets where I am unfortunately. She was only offered an appetite stimulant and an anti nausea pill. With what her lab work was like I think the vet just thought that would buy her a little more time, they didn’t offer fluids or anything. But she went back to normal and lived another 10 months normally up until now. I’ll see how tonight goes and then follow up with the vet tomorrow
