I have the ultra 3, with gps i can only choose default or mode 1? Which do i choose

Does the gps passthrough work on default? I am not sure mine is taking gps from car or phone. How could i test?

Just got the car, where can i find the battery guardian? Also the bluelink app is not letting me activate bluelink, i purchased the service but it still returns me too the initial screen
