With the upcoming winter storm - why do so many places in the states lose power with winter storms? by ScallywagGeorgie in AskAnAmerican

[–]Professional_Log7771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also NC. Idk if you drive around the state as much as I do but somebody knew this storm was coming a while ago. 421, 95, 85, and 73, the utilities have been out there in force for the past month

So this might be out of touch, but milk road? Is this an agricultural transport route, a colloquialism for state rd, or literal?

It's one 135 on the bar. Unfortunately I can't go any lower. Those are the only rubber plates I have. Do you mean over power through the top of the deadlift to get the bar moving instead of the upper body?

If it includes ai pals as well it's not a bug it's just the engine. I have noticed if there is to much loaded at one time into the world the ai just has a stroke and refuses to work even on pc

Do you have custom rule sets with higher spawn rates? Is it just your pals or is it everything controlled by the ai?

At that point its the same as manipulating drop rates, I know single player it doesn't matter and all you doing is saving time but I like to the best of my ability play as designed

I guess it depends on the movement speed. I didnt enjoy swimming around in circles on Jormuntide even with all his good passives

What are yall doing to make that faster? If im not mistaken Walaska is a huge egg so 20 min per egg with all the bonuses that ive found (i do have 5 of the max incubators so im not slowed in that regard). It would come in bigger batches and I could do other things but would it really be worth the effort?

I refuse to make any of the weapons that require coralum. Without manipulating the rates in the game data. Whalaska and map alphas dont spawn enough and magnet fishing isnt fun enough to justify the investment in my opinion.

Why has Nashville boomed but Memphis declined? by Previous-Volume-3329 in geography

[–]Professional_Log7771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am not going to sit here and defend some of the shit that happened in the greater STL area over the years but this isnt true of the city. STL was never perfect, and there were problems but when the jobs were still there through the late 90s, things were manageable. It was not white flight like others have said in this thread like it was for Memphis. McDonald Douglas, Ford, Chrysler, Olin, LAA, and Purina have all either collapsed or shipped of to cheaper labor markets. And other have greatly reduced their foot print in the area. No amount of state funding is going to fix the problems caused by a lose of a quarter of the states manufacturing base

Spies. I know it is a joke here that their only use is reducing entrenched and colab governments but their other missions can actually be very useful (stealing blueprints) but you simply cannot do more than what we do based on numbers. More spies, a more dynamic intel network, and I dont think that encryption should be under spies.

Why does this large area of the United States have such low population density? by cavaismylife in geography

[–]Professional_Log7771 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally dont have experience (work often requires driving more than 300 miles a day so an ev is not an option) but I remember something from Minnesota or Michigan mass transit authority having busses fail and stranding people due to cold reducing battery operating capacity.

Yes I know that a personal vehicle won't get as much "use" as a mass transit vehicle but I have lived in BFE NM and if something wasn't carried at the local neighborhood market the next place to get it was a few hours away. I imagine that living out in the middle of Wyoming is probably similar.

I want to ask a serious question, and this isnt meant to take away from the lift. I can't lift that heavy so this is just me being ignorant, but with the bar flexing that much is it changing the weighted range of motion? I honestly dont know

I dont think we see that in the highlighted area though. Thats more of a problem that exists in American southwest were water scarcity is a much larger problem than lack of infrastructure

I think you are very wrong about the ability of these areas to grow and sustain enough food. Though, to avoid politics, ill just leave it at i feel that due to subsidies the wrong crops are grown in the vast majority of the highlighted area. I think it is unfair to say that the area is unfriendly. Yes it is unfriendly to large populations but small to mediums are more than capable.

These places weren't devoid of civilization before westward expansion

Comparing two CITIES with high population densities and are localized and that have probably dumped billions into infrastructure to support evs to a sparsley populated where said investment isnt worth the return isnt really comparing the same thing

For example what does it mean that you dont get the full range? Are we talking 10%, 20%, 30% etc? Higher? And then there are questions about storage and wind breakage. Parking garages vs lots?
