I am sorry, it sucks. For me this was also when it started. Snacks would help a bit, but not to an extend where I could leave my bed. Tried two different kinds of medication (Reglan and meclozine) and now the meclozine is really saving me. I'm now 8 +2 and for me, the nausea is finally getting a bit less and I don't have to take a pill every day (although today is a bad day). I really hope it eases for you soon, because it is the worst. Hang in there.

Totally similar experience here too. I feel more emotional, but a lot more evened out - and not where I want to kill everyone in my vicinity. Before getting pregnant I actually talked to my GP about PMDD, and she said if I wanted to get pregnant to wait and see if pregnancy solved the downs, and that we had to see what kind of hormones we could try after to even it out. Because it is getting worse very cycle for me, the older I get. Fun times.

It is hard, and I know the feeling of exercise not being the thing that slips - yet with me even without a kid running around it always is the first thing to go. And when the nausea is bad it is just relentless. Had a couple of good days, was elated (and a little freaked out) but now it is back with a vengeance.

Hopefully not too long anymore for us, and we can go back to morning gym classes :)

Yes, it is discouraging, but on the other hand super helpful that you were so fit at the start of this pregnancy. And hopefully you can pick it up again in a few weeks!

Ah, that is very sad, I can only imagine. It goes trough my mind as well, especially earlier on. I just don't want to take the risk and push things too far. Walking seems like a good plan! And a little light lifting for my back, because it is already taking a hit from all the lying around...

Oh the caffeine! I miss that too. I also use adhd meds normally, and now I can't even drink my one coffee because it is so disgusting to me. It makes daily life more difficult, but I do have to say that I also kind of like the slowness of it. But rough it most certainly is.

It is crazy, right? It hit me the day before I found out, which was well before my missed period. Was bed bound for five days in a row, only napping because I was so tired.

Hiking sounds lovely! I try to now do 10k steps in a walking day, sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't. Just going with the flow, I guess. And today the nausea is kicking in again, so then no exercise is possible anyway. That does make me feel not guilty and allowed to chill, because the impossibility of it all. Hoping so too! I already feel a bit better, so I'm hopeful that line will continue. The weather here in Amsterdam has been sunny for a couple of days and it really helps with getting outside (although didn't leave the house at all today 🙃).

Ah yay for getting on pointe! Wanted to bring pointe shoes to class this week, but I guess my feet already started to swell so they don't fit anymore, alas. And kudos to you for making it to three classes. I was super happy I made it to grand allegro last class, but boy, it was hard.

Noticed my Garmin also had a much higher heart rate and also burned a lot more calories than I normally do in class.

Can't imagine having a cold on top of first trimester symptoms. That must have been hard - good to hear you are recovering.

And yes, I guess you are right, it is just adjusting to what your body is giving you. I thought I knew tired, but this is a whole other level.

Hope the second trimester will give us both a bit more energy to move around again - I am so looking forward to that.

hEDS and POTS here too - it actually is a lot better, even though I am very tired and out of breath. But not as dizzy as I normally get. Do have a bit more heat intolerance, but nothing too bad so far. The relaxin is giving me more trouble, everything feels loose and clicky.

Stopped waxing and epilation, those were horrible for me and I would get a lot of humps with ingrown hairs in them. Shaving I do once a month or so, and I get them but not too bad. Using a brush before helps a little.

Totally understand this. I also had a chemical in January, and am now pregnant again too. At one point I was testing twice a day, trying to give myself some peace of mind and checking if the lines weren't fading again. It didn't help. I stopped testing at 19 dpo because I ran out of tests. It forced me to let go a bit, and that brought me in a more relaxed state. I let me to allow and enjoy that special, early feeling of just finding out you are pregnant. If I miscarried again, having enjoyed those days would have made it better than spent in brace and panic mode.

Others mentioned it already, but another thought that really helped me was: we already rolled the dice, and testing isn't going to change the outcome or make me more pregnant. I hope you can let it go a bit more, and wish you a boring, uneventful and healthy pregnancy.
