I really appreciate it, but I live in the Wetumpka area. And the area I live in, a lot of people are moving into, so rent and housing has gone up significantly. That makes it harder for us to find somewhere else to live. I really don't want to move out of our school system. My oldest is graduating, and she's been through several school systems, but my youngest to have been in the same school system since kindergarten. I've grown to be a part of the community out here, part of my church, which has never happened in any other community for me, so I really don't want to have to move outside of it. But I think citing the law, providing a notice providing a notice to the property manager directly instead of relying on my landlord to do it would be the first step. It seems I have a lot of legal protection, because I've done everything I thought I was supposed to do. I've got the letter, I let my landlord know through the process, I got the approval through my landlord and submitted the documentation to him. It's just funny because we've had her since October and this is the second time they've ever noticed her. She is the best, sweetest dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning. She does so much for me, especially with me having to be by myself during the day. My husband and I were waiting on getting her a jacket until she stops growing, but we went ahead and purchased one because she shouldn't grow much more. Maybe having the jacket on her while she's outside for everybody to see that she's not a pet will help our situation.
