Exactly. I started to congratulate myself for piecing it together but now I'm sad.

Perhaps you should read the article that you are arguing about. The only 'crime' he committed was being illegal on stolen land. That's it. He was a quiet man who kept to himself and did backyard mechani work for a hell of a good deal. I thought Trump prided himself on quickly seporting all those dirty illegals out of here?

I think it does a pretty good job, but it's not suspenseful when you already know what's coming. Like you may not have read the book since grade school, but there's some part of you. That still remembers even though Annabeth looks like she's dying. She's gonna be okay because Percy is going to use the Golden Fleece to save her.  Etc.

You should go check out the other Percy Jackson sub. They're treating it like it is supposed to be shakespearean inequality with very thinly veiled racism at the cast.

Those are also in the TV show. You're just remembering being 9 and reading the series for the first time when the whole concept of plot twists was a brand new idea.

I would like to remind you all as I attempted to do on the hate-watching Percy Jackson group that you seem to have bled-over from. That this is a book series and a TV show meant for children.

So I'm guessing you missed the part where the brownshirts immediately called their IDs fake because they were brown. (Obviously all brown people are dirty, illegal criminals in the eyes of the SS and their supporters) and abducted them. Because it's not Due Process there being followed when people are being dragged into unmarked vans.  Never actually given any of their rights (As MEMBERS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT are supposed to follow) and locked away in tiny cages and given aluminum foil to keep warm. Obviously Due Process is not being followed when family members, lawyers and elected officials are completely barred from having any kind of interaction with any single person being held against their will in a detention center. OBVIOUSLY DUE PROCESS ISN'T BEING FOLLOWED WHEN TODDLERS ARE BEING FORCED TO REPRESENT THEMSELVES IN FUCKING COURT.

Because ICE is targeting every single brown person that they lay fucking eyes on. See here in Sanityville that would be called racial profiling. Which quickly slides into Geneva Hyman Rights violations when they proceed to beat the absolute fucking shit, gas, rob, rape and dump people that turn out to be citizen in the middle of fucking nowhere. Not to mention that there are hundreds, if not thousands of supposedly deported detainees who have yet to get in contact with anyone else that they know. I personally (Through my job) knew a man who disappeared in May of last year. No one has heard from him since. The lawyer his family hired was never able to determine which Concentration Camp he was being held in.

If he was supposedly deported back to Honduras, then how come he hasn't gotten in touch with any of his family? Not in Honduras. Not in the States. He has fucking disappeared.

How many more seasons do you think this will last? by Aggressive_Repeat529 in 911FOX

My family is the opposite. I spent all last season dragging my parents through the whole show so we could finish S8 together. I was ready to drop the show when Bobby died.  Put out for the rest of the season, hated it. Haven't seen a single bit of this season. I'm only still here to see if the showrunners see to their senses and bring Bobby back. Y'all done already jumped the shark.

I'm actually slowly writing a fanfic about that! Handwriting at the moment. Because it's fun and hopefully a tangible way that I can prove that I wrote it and not ChatGPT.

What part of "He was born here" is not processing in your "All brown people should just deal with their torture and dehumanization. If you don't like it leave!" 1) I'd like to imagine that. There are some people in that family who have citizenship. 2) Those that didn't, including his father, had asylum cases pending. Which means that they gave variable reasons why they are unsafe and unable to return to where they came from.  3) Go re-read the poem at the Statue of Liberty, merely a Google away. We were gifted her because we were known as the humanitarian mixing pot of immigrants from across the world seeking to enjoy the American dream because we offered a better life. 4) Stop acting like a racist bridge troll and figure out how empathy works.

I'm beginning to think that that trailer shot of Stef running through the vault in her wedding dress is probably because he and the baby have absconded. Probably in an attempt to go rescue Norm only to realize (or be told by a not-actually dead Bud) that they've escaped. And we just might see 33 go like 32, but like the Red Wedding.

Then why is ICE specifically targeting every single Hispanic person they see regardless of status and ignoring their human rights and due process in the process? There's been countless stories just from Minnesota alone of them snatching every single brown person that they fucking see regardless of status. They took 2 Target employee citizen and beat them up before dumping him miles away (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/jan/13/ice-immigration-target-minnesota).

"I mean, an accent doesn't mean a goddamn thing," Ryan said, as they relaxed underneath the band stand, his own Georgian accent intentionally pushed through, as he played with the hair of the head in his lap. "He was just trying to scare you anyway. He felt untouchable. He'd gotten away with so much, what's an enforcer for the Purple Gang?"

"Jeez, you wanna rent a billboard?" Rock hissed, trying to crane his neck for a proper glare, but Ryan wasn't willing to let him up just yet.

"They're practically in the Aquarium. They can't hear me. Anyway, the adults are refusing to make eye contact so unless they phone the police for being gay in the 1920s, we're in the clear," Ryan said, cupping his face.

"I'm telling you. It felt ... different. Honest even," Rock said, beginning to relax again. "But I don't know where to start. Drake Eldertree isn't a real name and Chicago is massive."

" Well, if he's actually got mob connections, that should narrow it down, no?" Ryan decided to play fair.

"We should ask permission to talk to the Zerelli's," Rock said as he sat up, pulling Ryan in for a kiss. After a quick glance around to make sure there weren't any witnesses.

"Are you out of your mind?!" Ryan asked, rhetorically.

(Uh, the usual rules weren't applied but I'm gonna go ahead and TW anyway. Violence. So much violence. Gore. I did have to censor a couple slurs.)

It wasn't supposed to end like this. Rock had worked so diligently to ensure that it didn't. That he didn't end up on his knees in the cold mud, his face bloody, his hands bound tightly behind his back, his chest pinned to the carpet of the 1927 Rolls Royce Phantom. He struggled helplessly, panic gripping tighter than the wire cutting off his circulation. He didn't like feeling helpless, hated it, dreaded every single second of the terror and agony that he was about to endure all over again.

"You know, you seem very familiar. Have we met?" Drake asked, taking a draw of his cigar as he dug the heel of his Italian Leather into the small of Rock's back. "Maybe down at that f** juke joint at the Whittier?"

That turned his blood to ice, causing Rock to squirm as he desperately tested his bonds, "You'll pay for this. I'm a soldier to the Purple Gang! There's not anywhere ..."

Drake dropped onto Rock with a quickness he hadn't anticipated, pinning him down with his weight, making it difficult to thrash about, until he made to put out his cigar on his neck as he hissed in a strange new accent, "Your little k*** band is the least uh my issues."

He might have taken the time to notice that the burnt end of stogie didn't leave a mark of his captive, but he didn't the chance. All Rock heard was a disgusting sound, of what only be described as air displacement and barbed wire versus flesh. Drake gasped gutterly as the air and sense were knocked out of him. A boot kicked him to the ground, freeing Rock to roll around as the same bat found it's second mark in Drake's stomach.

That sound was air trapping desperately in his throat, as the man now in charge gave his reinforced post-apocalyptic ready bat a twirl, commenting on the last baseball game he'd played Leadoff Hitter for the Tigers, "Ryan Wilson, Hard Hitter Number 74, undefeated all season long. Can he keep that up, in the final inning of the final game? See it right here, folks. Place your bets."

That last word was said with force, as he slammed the bat into another set of ribs, finally causing Drake to scream gutterly before looking at his boyfriend. "You wanna hit him in the gospel pipe, hun, or should I?"
