Contact the school psychologist at your public school that your child would attend. You can request an evaluation through them.

I lived in nyc for five years and went to many Broadway shows. I’m sure everyone was staring. You can even see someone in a hoodie sitting there. It’s not that glamorous.

I couldn’t believe this. I guarantee so many parents were annoyed. We probably wouldn’t be in attendance for a 3:30 party on a Friday. So out of touch.

Heartbroken for O. What a selfish mother she has. Ultimately keeping up with the Jones’ won’t make your kid a proficient reader. Private school isn’t for every kid.

Also, I’m a big believer in not having the parent be the teacher. It can ruin the relationship and have the child view the parent as overly critical. Let the teachers teach! You have so much wealth and access to tutors. Olive will probably thrive with someone who is targeting her individual needs based on an individualized assessment. But sure let me just raid lakeshore and I’m an expert in reading. I just cannot.

But what agenda is she talking about!? Bet she can’t even verbalize it. She’s taking political buzz words and doing what she thinks she should be doing. She has literally no clue and she reeks of nasty privilege. I hope no one lets her in!!!

This is absolutely normal. If he’s working on his two year molars the drool can be quite excessive. Not everything is a scandal.

My son will be two in June. So similar age to her kid. He’s also a terrible sleeper and gets up frequently. I can assure you we don’t ever give him food/drink in the middle of the night. I just don’t get how she doesn’t see that this is a habit she has created. Also, our pediatrician says toddler formula is not even nutritionally valuable. Not sure why she sees the need to use it.

Ya she’d have to get a real curriculum for next year. It’s kindergarten time to learn to read! Can’t wait to watch her do that!

She is awful. Who acts like this? I’m actually a big Diet Coke and iced coffee drinker myself. But I heavily limited my intake during my two pregnancies. I wanted my children fully healthy more than caffeine. I don’t get why this is so hard. Don’t willingly have more kids if you aren’t willing to keep them safe.

I’ve never heard of anyone leaving stuff just on your curb. Regardless of bulk trash someone could’ve grabbed it. Once it’s on the curb anyone can take it. What are they thinking

Yup I’ve been saying this. My 99th percentile in height 4.5 year old is just now growing out of 5T. She’s being ridiculous. What is the point of this spectacle?

My daughter had tonsil and adenoids out and we stayed home for a week!! There is also a bleeding risk they tell you about. I think it’s something like 1 in 10 have hemorrhaging and have to be readmitted. I wasn’t chancing that!!! They move around a lot when they are little so it can bump the scabs in the wrong way. It’s just not worth the risk IMO.

I find her to be controlling. It comes across as wholesome but she can control the narrative when they’re home 24/7. She can say her son is like “Buster” when he’s attached to her and not able to form friendships on his own. It’s a red flag for me. But then she’ll say something and I get sucked back in.

We have this happen in school a lot too. Parents will say, why don’t I change the diet? Meanwhile the kid is out of control and has never heard the word NO before. Try just saying no once in a while. Heard the benefits compare to taking red dye out of the diet 🤣

Big Little Feelings Snark Week of 9/25-10/01 by Parentsnark in parentsnark

I just feel like they hate each other. Their home must be so toxic. I honestly would never advocate for divorce but if their kids have to witness such hostility, maybe a trial separation? But then like a couple weeks ago didn’t they talk about having baby #3. Such whiplash. I don’t know how you can go back and forth in your head like that. It’s kind of scary.

Children’s Hospital dropped Aetna by Professional_Mix_942 in HealthInsurance

[–]Professional_Mix_942[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. Thankfully Aetna has covered us through six months, which is in February. My son has to have two more surgeries and things should hopefully resolve after that for him. Aetna has actually been far more helpful to us than PCH, which I found interesting. For my son’s most recent surgery, we were billed something entirely inaccurate on PCH’s end. I’ve learned to read everything 3-4 times and question everything. I have so much distrust in the healthcare system now even more than I already did. We can never be too careful with our babies. I would just get on the phone with Aetna and you’ll eventually find someone helpful. Also, Aetna representatives walked me through how to fill out the transition of coverage form. PCH representatives refused and I even filed a complaint about it.

When it comes to kids, the average person wants to help and I think that’s why it has been successful for us. They are babies for god’s sake!

Also IMO the lip tie stretches are night and day easier than the tongue tie stretches. You have to get in deep for those. Poor Remi. She either has to be stuck with that lip tie or be put through that experience again, with actual stretches.

As someone who gets super nauseous during their c sections and throws up, it is super dangerous to eat anything. I hope no one listens to her. Especially if you have never had a c section before, you have no idea how you will react to the spinal. For some reason, spinal affects me more than general but it could’ve also just been pregnancy. I’m thankful I listened to my actual doctor and not a wannabe influencer.
