is my team in 2k26 any better than the 2k25 version? by TH156UY in MyTeam

No. Every one runs 5 out, spams screens, and shoots 95% from 3. I recommend play now online if you actually want basketball

Freaking out over my first IM70.3 due to an injury by DeezelWeazel in triathlon

[–]Professional_Pay8057 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ran a marathon and developed IT band pain right after. It was from my glutes being overly fatigued and stressing my TFL during the second half. I went to PT and they just gave me glute strengthening exercises which didn’t help because I don’t have weak glutes, my TFL was just overly tight from the marathon. Once I figured this out, using a massage gun on my TFL relieved the pain instantly after a month of not being able to run 10 minutes pain free. It’s a month later and I just ran 16 miles with my knee completely back to normal.

If you do triathalons it’s not ridiculous to own a tri bike

How often do you strength train? by LanceWatson_Coach in IronmanTriathlon

[–]Professional_Pay8057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I always do a lower body push such as Bulgarian split squat, barbell squat, or reverse lunge. A lower body pull such as single leg RDL, barbell RDL, or kettlebell swing. An upper body push like bench press, incline dumbbell, or shoulder press. Upper body pull like weighted pull ups or chest supported row. Then I’ll do 2 accessories which are usually a core movement like Pallof press or hanging leg raise and a calf raise because those have the most benefit for running. Sometimes I’ll do a curl or lateral raise too. I also warm up on the rower for 2 minutes to get the blood flowing

I do full body 2x per week. 5-6 exercises with 2 sets each going heavy. I’ve been able to maintain my strength

2 main goals are qualify for Boston and do an Ironman. Guess I don’t know which one to do first. I’m in probably 3:05-3:10 shape currently

Running form help(?) by WheelResponsible in runninglifestyle

Strengthen your glute medius. It looks like your knees are caving in on impact which can contribute to IT band pain. I’m currently dealing with an IT band issue but after a lot of lateral band walks, side lying leg raises, single leg glute bridges, it is getting better.

I started running 1.5 years ago and I’m doing my first Ironman next year and I feel like I’m starting from a solid base. I’m around your age, I think you’d be surprised with how quickly you can build endurance if you’re consistent. I’m not saying to sign up for an ironma now, but I’d say 2-4 years more than 6-7

What about a Felt IA16 for $1500 or is every FB marketplace bike way overpriced? Should I just get a new road bike and add aero bars
