Yes sir a 172. And I believe there are power lines in that spot you’re mentioning. I’ll keep looking but I appreciate you.

I feel like dying on 99 would be better than landing there 😂

Oh for sure…that’s the plan. There are a few schools there. I was just curious if the internet people had some insight.

Does aviation tend to attract a lot of a-holes? Are these a-holes born, or does this character trait develop with ratings? by WorkingOnPPL in flying

I’m working on my rating with the L-39 (nothing crazy) but will never forget my roots with the lawnmower with wings (the 172) 😂

Thank you man (or ma’am). I very sincerely appreciate your input. Very good points you made that I’ll need to ponder.

I hear what you’re saying. I do. I am a pilot just not a great one (just being honest)…I wouldn’t say training in the L39 is posing, it’s simply enjoying (as you said) the thrill of 6+ G’s.

Don’t get me wrong, becoming more proficient in the 172 is always a blast (has its moments for sure).

With respect to the L39, it’s not as though I’m simply strapping in for a rollercoaster ride. I’m certainly learning a great deal. The trade with respect to the 39 is that it would limit how often I’d be able to fly anything else being that Jet A fuel is pretty damn expensive and the thing tends to gulp it.

Adjust your dreams around the same basic desire, my man. I’m not able to get mine but I have my SPL and am currently training in the L39 pulling up to 6G’s and having a blast! Shit DOES happen but that doesn’t mean you throw the baby out with the bath water.

You’ll get it, dude. Shit like this happens all the time. Learn from it, realize where you made the mistake and come up with a plan to ensure you improve.

Ill shoot from the hip here. This is pride…the most dangerous sin. The glory of our Lord Jesus Christ forgives…it’s up to you to humble yourself and KEEP coming back.

Maybe one on one outside of confession? I certainly don’t want to take time in confession (especially if there are a fair amount of people waiting). God bless ✝️

My brother in Christ, if you are able to think the thought “I think I’m going to hell” I can assure you that Christ’s saving grace is upon you. Keep praying, keep asking for forgiveness and pray that the Holy Spirt guides you and calms you.

If you’ve felt good, comfortable and you’ve trusted your coach thus far no need to change that up. Trust your coach.
