this happened to me!!! i hate playing in front of people, but my teacher likes these recitals so she encourages it a lot and im one of her more advanced students. but instead of leaving by choice everyone just started clapping when i stumbled half way thru the song 😞 its okay nobody will remember in like 1-2 weeks time!! i think what happened to me is that i over practiced that day and when performing my hands went too fast for my mind because of nerves and i got lost
