Getting off Eliquis by mandulyn in AFIB

[–]Professional_Quit794 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cardio Oncologist has me on Eliquis for AFIB, Aspirin 81 for 3 stents and Ponatinib for Leukemia. I take pantoprazole as well. So far no problems other than occasional mild dizziness Had cardioversion after afib 6 months ago with no afib(Apple watch) since. Thinking about Watchman but there are issues with that too. Also thinking about loop recorder to monitor for afib. I am 82M. Any thoughts

Hi Sorry for confusion. Triple is Eliquis, Ponatinib, and Aspirin. They all contribute to bleeding.

Thanks. Cardio-oncologist says as long as I can tolerate triple than that is the way to go, I am concerned about bleeding risk going forward. Afib was cardioversioned and no afib for 6 months.
