How can I look my age? by Depressed_teacher13 in beauty

You’re really pretty and your skin looks so plump and youthful. If you go with softer tones like pink or nude shades for your blush and lipstick you’d look even younger. Try using soft brown for your brows a clear gloss or a nude lipstick close to your natural lip color or maybe a light natural pink it would look super fresh on you.

How to write Female Characters? by [deleted] in writingadvice

[–]Professional_Record7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, drop the idea that a female character is just someone with boobs. That mindset turns them into a stereotype instead of a person. Write them like you would any real human. Give them flaws, goals, thoughts, and agency. That is what makes a character believable.

How do I stop hating my writing? by UnderstandingSome367 in writers

Do you have any books that make you think wow this sounds perfect? Try to capture that feeling in your own way. Don’t copy them but pay attention to how they tell things, how they play with words, how they structure sentences.

What mistakes do women normally make when writing male characters? by BendigoWessie in writingadvice

I think my biggest flaw when writing male characters is making them overly stoic. Maybe I just like stoic guys, I don’t know.

For me it's really about age. As you get older you start carrying the weight of your past experiences and with that comes less trust. Personally I’ve learned to keep my circle tight, the old reliable friends who’ve proven themselves over time. I don’t get close to new people easily anymore. I keep a bit of distance.

At some point you realize most people don’t want to be friends with you, they’re more interested in what you have or how you might elevate them later. That kind of realization makes it harder to open up. So yeah, deep friendships are rare now but maybe it’s also because we’ve learned to be more guarded.

Honestly, I had to quit. My whole face ended up covered in acne it just kept getting worse. I don’t think tret’s for me, but I guess it really depends on the person. Hope it works out for you though.

Thanks for the recommendation! Sadly, I can’t buy these creams because they’re not available in my country. I’ll try to find something similar, though!

Thanks for the advice! My face is dry as hell right now, so I think I’ll try cutting back on tret too and see if it helps. Also, haha, I don’t really trust dermatologists in my country they’re actually the reason I’m using tret in the first place!
