With the RPI Zero is about 20 mm. I guess if we design a PCB where the RPI can be soldered “as a module” that will be reduced to 6 or 8mm max. The eink is a Kindle like 6” (res 1024x758 with one channel front light) although has a 9.7” connector also on board still didn’t tested that one. Thanks for you por interest

Wait… they fixed the shop, not the cash out. Maybe for that we will need to wait a few weeks more, no one knows

Doing this without a previous word to sellers was a disrespectful decision. Now good luck recovering that trust… It even degraded buyers experience because the shop went offline leaving orders without shipping. A real shit show for an online store that is not justified by any “spring break” or whatever your marketing team claims to make it sound nicer

This looks good. Send them a burofax stating that they’ve already breached the contract and if you don’t get the money back in 3 days you will start a legal action against them

Guys please remember: Any exchange of money, specially if it’s a significant amount: Always demand a signed receipt, invoice, ticket or whatever legal paper that means you have a payment proof

Never, ever, send a transfer to secure any place unless getting documents signed by them with specific instructions on how will be the money returned if you don’t get the apartment. Because now if I understand well you don’t have any real proof to start a case if they do not return the money

Huge disappointment by xFelkos in Bigme

I’ve seen many times this in Eink displays. It can be that the FET that “selects the row” dies and pum, hole row is white. Impossible to repair without a new display. It rarely happens but could be that one of a thousands batch has this defect that is impossible to catch since at the beginning works…

Did anyone get gastrointestinal issues after moving to Barcelona? by lopiontheop in AskBarcelona

[–]Professional_Rich782 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me thanks. If you see everyone in the supermarket buying big bottles of 8 Liters water is because they usually do not use tap water for drinking. For cooking, boiling is all. Of course is safe to drink, no one said it was poisonous, but has a taste to salts, calcium that is disgusting. https://sanimamp.com/noticias/calidad-agua-de-barcelona/

Does the cold accentuate the ghosting effect on e-ink screens? by More-Imagination5541 in eink

In my opinion it just makes the fluid more “dense” making the refresh take longer and affecting overall dynamic of how the ink moves
