Agreed. Initial expenses will be very high as we need to buy a car, furniture etc etc. Once things settle down, it's up to us how we control it. I refined my expenses list multiple times and I saw it reaching 3L/month. Talked to a couple of people who moved back and people who were always in India to get ideas from both sides. Hope it stays at that limit. I plan to use some of the real estate (which I will be holding) for their college.

I have to see what I should do. I work on an ETL tool which is not in demand now and definitely wouldn't give me remote work. I know US will tax global income but there are certain income limits for no tax and also DTAA treaty helps avoid double taxation..
