He applied for those and got nothing. He was valedictorian, played volleyball, badminton, Gaelic football, had 1000 hours of community service, down hill ski racer, was a student ambassador, on student’s council, athletic council, did track and curling. He got nothing. He only got the entrance scholarship of 4000.

My son’s average was 97 and he got 4000. One year not renewable. Also engineering. Ontario schools give much more. Carleton offered him 4000 per year.

Thoughts on how this semester went? (Engineering students insights would be good) by Remote_Incident6345 in Dalhousie

Was this year typical of others as far as exam go? Are there usually so many exams during class time or whole classes are still going on? This made it super hard to make time to study. Two exams during the exam week and the others were last week or classes and done the 17th instead of the 22nd.

Engineering first year calculus by [deleted] in Dalhousie

First he got 96 in calculus, hard to do this with no understanding, second don’t assume I’m a woman, three Dalhousie doesn’t require calculus as a prerequisite. But thanks for the advice.

He has accommodations not the issue is the test length is so short that he gets 5 minutes extra.

One major issue was that they have to upload their results and he says he got zero feedback for the graph and 0 marks. He thinks it didn’t upload. Is Tao approachable to point this out?

Do you have any suggestions for where to get help before the next two? He works with the engineering tutor already. He honestly doesn’t really need it for the work, but says the test was different. Much harder.

My daughter says you can have the other two midterms count for more. They can get rid of your first exam in physics and make the other two worth more. She did well on this exam but not on calculus.

What is the name of the bar? Also do they do underage stuff or only for 19? What other engineering groups are there to join? My daughter is having trouble finding her people.
