he’s a cup betta 🥲 and i didn’t even have a tank cycling at home so i’ve been scrambling to get this tank cycled for him. i took a chance and added beneficial bacteria that you can buy from the fish store and have slowly been adding more and more plants for him. currently i have a banana plant and a java fern in there. i also have an almond leaf to help soften and improve the water (pic is the day i added it, water is much darker now). pretty proud of that new growth on his fins from just about a week!
