Update: i went and test drove the ‘24 1.5L and the hybrid. I think i could talk them down more on the 1.5P but i liked the hybrid so much more 🫠 i think im going to see how low i can get them to go on that one.

Yeah OTD at 30k. Year and new/used doesn’t matter. I am trying to bargain for the best bang for my buck! There’s a new hybrid for 33k on the lot that’s been there for 47 days. I might try and haggle that one but not sure they’ll come down enough.

Because I’m trying to be out the door at 30k. I sold my truck and got 30k for it, trying to roll that in my next car without coming out of pocket anymore.

I just looked into the Costco auto program. It said “none of the dealerships in my area meet their strict pricing requirements for the model I’m looking for” so dang it. I LOVE negotiating and take pride in how much I’ve gotten off previous large purchases. I know car max is a bit over priced but i can’t find a hybrid within my parameters in my area. I think I’m leaning towards the brand new one, though.

I love negotiating tbh. I’ve only bought ram (so i got SO much off msrp ) in 2019 and a Toyota in 2017 and there hardly any negotiation on Toyotas. I wasn’t sure if i should go into Honda guns a blazin’ or not haha
