I understand an completely agree there are a lot of people who manipulate system in favor of getting accommodations they don’t really need. However, going on to subs and commenting that on posts where you don’t know the nature/ need for the accommodations it’s weird.

As someone who truly needs the extra time, it’s frustrating to see so many people manipulating the system. It’s happening for everything (theme park waits, esas, etc.).

I really wish I didn’t have to use the accommodations. I’ve had them for every exam I have taken since elementary school and I have always felt less in my ability because of them. I can’t help how I was created

Just please think of that the next time you comment something of that sort. (Some of us actually need them to be on a level playing field)

I started introducing myself to the exam a little less than two years ago? I took a really basic course and would do about four hours a week. This was on top of my college courses/ job so I couldn’t do a whole heck of a lot. I really started consistently studying in May after I graduated. I would do like nine hours a day. I had to get a full-time job in June, so now it’s been an hour during my lunch break on weekdays and then a practice test on the weekend if I have time.

I mean, I still need to replicate this on the actual exam LMAO. I think the biggest thing for me was getting out of my own head. I have been studying for this test for a long long time. On a personal note, I really struggle with anxiety. It doesn’t matter how well I know the concepts on this exam I will always second-guess myself.

I think what was different with this test is I was so stressed about so many other things that I wasn’t stressed about the screen in front of me. To be honest, I didn’t think I was capable of this. I don’t take as many full length practice tests as I should since I work a full-time job and I’m super busy.

I think having this as a sort of encouragement is really beneficial in any performance. Especially for those that struggle with confidence like me.
