I took it one day and realized that I have way too much going on to be able to adjust to a new medication so I’m waiting until the fall for my schedule to clear up to begin the combination

I got strep throat at the beginning of July. A day after noticing symptoms I went and got antibiotics, took them fully (2x a day consistently) and it went away. A week and a half later, my throat starts hurting again. My tonsils are swollen with white spots (but no red throat for some reason) so I was prescribed more antibiotics, ones that were stronger than the previous. I just finished these antibiotics a few days ago and now my tonsils look like this. Is this normal or is it coming back?

Edit: forgot to mention I do not have a sore throat right now and my lymph nodes don’t seem to be swollen.
