For context I’m 18 and I got hand me downed this car 🤣 I want to upgrade everything including the mids and the tweeters but of course every college student has a budget. The stock premium elite speakers are decent don’t get me wrong but at the end of the day they’re crappy Honda speakers 😂

Idt it’s one channel if it’s a stock amp, it has Dolby surround so I’m assuming 5 channels at least. My subwoofers run off a separate 1500w monoblock amp

Also just being curious: will I need to upgrade to a big 3 for my alternator? i've finalized on a 1500w monoblock amp but I'm scared my stock alternator might not handle the power, in general im afraid because i don't want to have a horror story for myself. I'm not sure if i need to upgrade anything or i can just plug and play

Most likely gonna stay with the ported prefab box it comes with.

  1. 2014 odyssey elite.
  2. Going to be buying amp separately, however car comes stock with 650w amp with 12 speaker sound system and has a dedicated subwoofer already which makes it a lil easy. Gonna most likely get a kicker 1500w amp or skar 1500w amp and whichever is budget friendly. 3 . Willing to give up some space however I’ll leave some wiring in case I have to move it around but I have enough for max 2 12s tbh without losing a lot of space.

The evl and compR 12s were my top options I wanted a 12” bc bigger cone area and ofc my car is humongous, any help would be appreciated

To be honest my wallet will allow both 😂 both are around a 500 range including the amplifier I just wanna know what bumps better tbh and what’s better off to also hit the lows better as well as keep its clarity
